Ronald Joseph Nelson, age 40, a Lake Station, Indiana resident, passed away Thursday, September 30, 2021.  He was born on April 16,1981 in Michigan City, Indiana to John H. and Cheryl (nee Bowen) Nelson Sr. He worked as a manager for Menards in Valparaiso. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, camping, hunting and loved working. He will be remembered as a loving, significant other, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Ronald is survived by his significant other, Elizabeth Johnson, his father, John H. Nelson Sr., mother, Cheryl Nelson; brother, Kenneth Nelson; sister, Tamara (Wayne) Holmer; numerous nieces and nephews, and many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his two brothers, William Michael Nelson and John H.
