Ronald Glen Stanford, age 55, of Merrillville, IN and formerly of Illinois, passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2021.

Glen was born on April 15, 1966 in Rosiclare, IL to Danny Stanford and Edna (Stanford) Foster.  He worked for Daifuku in Hobart, IN as shipping and handling expert.  Glen married Sandy (nee Tobeck) Stanford on October 8, 2011 and spent nine wonderful years together.  Described as a simple man by his family, Glen enjoyed camping, fiddling with woodworking, and maintaining his yard.  He will be missed by all who knew him.

Glen is survived by his wife: Sandy; mother: Edna (Arnie) Foster; step-son: Andrew (Taylor) White; and siblings: Robert Miles, Blaine (Kellie) Stanford, and Laurita Moore.

Glen is preceded in death by his father: Danny Stanford.

Family and friends may gather for a memorial service on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 4:00 P.M. at Rees funeral Home, Hobart Chapel (600 W. Old Ridge Rd., Hobart)  A memorial visitation will take place at 1:30 P.M. until the time of service.
