Ronald James Tressler, Sr.

Ronald James Tressler, Sr., age 73, of Hobart passed away Friday March 18, 2022, at his home.  Ronald was born January 26, 1949, in Ashtabula, Ohio to the late Ronald K. and Vivian (Weddle) Tressler, Jr. He was a heavy equipment operator who retired from The International Union of Operating Engineers Local #150.

He is survived by his loving wife, Teresa; a son, Ronald J. Tressler, Jr. of Schererville; two daughters, Mary Villegas of Chicago Ridge, Illinois and Debra L. Tressler of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; four grandchildren, Jennifer LeRose, Christian LeRose, Cheyenne Garcia, and Joyce Garcia; one sister, Jacqueline (David) Mathews of Valparaiso; and several more relatives and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, William Tressler; and a sister Cynthia Luttrell.

A Memorial Service will be conducted 10:00 am Saturday April 16, 2022, at Rees Funeral Home 600 W. Old Ridge Road Hobart, Indiana 46342.
