Ronald S. Tucker, Sr. "Spencer", age 42, of Porter, passed away May 26, 2017. He was born on May 1, 1975 in Hobart, Indiana. He will always be remembered for his caring nature. He was a welcoming person who loved his family dearly. Spencer always wanted to help people and dedicated his time to working with troubled youth. In his free time, he enjoyed reading and hunting. Spencer was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

He is survived by his wife, Catherine Tucker; sons, James Tucker, Seth Tucker, Ronald Spencer Tucker, Jr.; daughter, Marissa Tucker; brother, Shawn Tucker; sister, Corinne Tucker; mother-in-law, Mary O'Boyle; brother-in-law, James P. (Becky) O'Boyle; aunt, Beth (Steven) Vale; many other loving family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Jean Cardinale; grandfather, Dale Tucker; and father-in-law, Jim O'Boyle.

A funeral service for Spencer will take place Friday, June 2, 2017 at 12:00 PM at Rees Funeral Home, Brady Chapel, 3781 Central Ave., Lake Station with Deacon Dennis Guernsey officiating.
