Ronald R. Wolf, age 87, of Hobart passed away Friday, August 27, 2021. He was born on July 16, 1934 in Harvey, Illinois to the late Ronald and Elva Wolf. Ronald was a 1952 graduate of Thornton High School. He worked as a sales manager for Watson Chevrolet. He was a car enthusiast and raced hydroplanes for many years.

He is survived by his loving partner, Dianne Joiner; sons, Ronald Wolf, Sherman (Debra) Wolf; daughter, Sheryl Kephart; 2 grandchildren; 3 sisters, Elaine Egdorf, Judy Diekelman and Joan Melling.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Elva Wolf; and sister, Elva Atherton

A memorial service for Ronald will take place Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at 7:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart. For anyone not able to attend the service, it will be livestreamed on the Rees Funeral Homes Facebook page. His ashes will be interred at Homewood Memorial Gardens in Homewood, Illinois. Memorial visitation will be held Wednesday from 5:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home.
