RONNIE L. DALLAS, age 69, of Hobart, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2010 at Saint Mary Medical Center. Ronnie was born July 20, 1941 in Illinois and moved to the area at a young age. Ronnie was an Operating Engineer and belonged to Local 150 for 47 years. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.

Ronnie is survived by his wife of 50 years, Bonnie; children, Brian Dallas, Lori (Joseph) Smith and Gregory Dallas; grandchildren, Jake, Nick, Antoine, Edwin, Mikyla and Katlyn; great granddaughter, Mina Marie; siblings, Dale (Vivian) Dallas, Treva (Dan) Flowers, and Mike (Nancy) Dallas; a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Owen and Evelyn Dallas and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Wilbur and Mina Charnetzky.

A funeral service for Ronnie will be Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Barrington Ridge Baptist Church, 97 Bracken Pkwy, Hobart, with Pastor Mitch Whidden and Pastor Bill Gibbs officiating.
