Ronnie Moldovan

Ronald Lee Moldovan "Rondo", age 45, of Hobart, passed away Monday, July 30, 2018. He was born on September 15, 1972 in Gary, Indiana. A lifelong northwest Indiana resident, Ronnie loved to race his car, M43. He also enjoyed fishing, camping and music. Above all, he was a wonderful grandfather and cherished the time he spent with his family.

Ronnie is survived by his mother, Cherie Janis; sisters, Tara (Tony) Nowasadski, Teresa Janis; girlfriend, Michelle Henson; sons, Timothy (girlfriend, Brittney McGrady) Johnson, Jacob Timberlake; daughters, Jessica (Terry) Koselke, Megan (Dylan) Jones; step children, Rushelle Crane, Brittany Gagliardi, Bridgette Gagliardi and Michael Henson; grandchildren, Elijah Johnson, Rylee Koselke, Ryder Koselke, Raylynn Jones, Nevaeh Jones, Everlee Jones; step grandchildren, Rozaliyah (Sissy), Eli, Ethan, Ian and Ezra (Bam Bam) Gagliardi; many other loving family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Janis; grandparents, John and Joanne Moldovan; uncles, Kenny Moldovan, Mike Janis, Albert Lee Janis, Ronald Janis; aunt, Barb Dunn; cousin, Darrell Dunn; and many other family members. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ronnie's name may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.

A funeral service for Ronnie will take place Friday, August 3, 2018 at 10:00 am at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart. He will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery.
