Rosa N. Rogers, age 85, of Lake Station, passed away Monday, October 17, 2016. Rosa was born on July 30, 1931 to the late Taylor and Sarah E. (nee Yates) Lynn in Crittenden County, Kentucky. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.
Rosa is survived by her husband, Noonon Edward Rogers; her son, David (Carol) Little; two daughters, Peggy (Dan) Mock and Dena Shearer; two sisters, Alta Davidson and Wilma Robinson; nine grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband in 1977, Barnett David "Sonny" Little; her parents; three sisters, Geneva McKinley, Florence Jones and Gertrude Millikin.
A funeral service, will take place Friday, October 21, 2016 at 11:00 am at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, IN 46342. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Portage, Indiana.
