Rosalie M. Hug

Rosalie M. Hug (nee Bartylla), age 83 of Crown Point (LOFS), passed away Saturday, May 6, 2017, after a long struggle with Alzheimer's. She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on January 18, 1934 to the late Steven and Bernice (nee Newcomb) Bartylla. Rosalie will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and friend.

Rosalie is survived by her children Linda (John) Lawson, Lee (Sally) Lugo, Dan (Michelle Sexton) Lugo, Desi (Donnie) Terpening, and Ray Lugo; 13 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jesus L. Lugo, Peter B. Tromble, John F. Hug, and daughter, Patricia (Dennis) Bachim.

The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations are made to the "Rosalie M. Hug Legacy Garden" at the Crown Point Christian Village to benefit the new beautiful "Haven Wing" soon to open. This LEGACY will be ongoing in future years to provide Alzheimer's residents a safe garden to enrich their lives.

On Sunday, May 21, 2017, Rosalie will be remembered at a family gathering at 11:00 am followed by a memorial service at noon held at Rees Funeral Home, Winfield Chapel, 10909 Randolph St., Winfield/Crown Point, IN 46307 with Chaplain Frank Klobucar, officiating.
