Rosalie A. Streetman (nee Stolarz), age 98, of Valparaiso, passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2018. She was born on November 12, 1920 in Lorain, Ohio to the late Casimir and Barbara Stolarz. Rosalie was a homemaker and dedicated her life to taking care of her husband and her children. She was a great mom who would bake cookies at the spur of the moment when anyone asked her to. She played a very active role in supporting her children and grandchildren by attending all of their extracurricular events. She will always be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother and friend.

Rosalie is survived by her son, Charles (Susan) Streetman, Jr.; daughter, Gloria (Donald) Mockaitis; daughter-in-law, Dona Streetman; grandchildren, Jennifer (David) Flesvig, Eric (Dawn) Mockaitis, Alex (Mari) Streetman, Robert (Kristi) Streetman, Jonathon Streetman, Chase Streetman, Leah Streetman, Lucas Streetman and Charlie Streetman; great granddaughter, Penny Streetman.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Streetman, Sr.; her son, Jeffrey Streetman; and 5 brothers and sisters. Memorial contributions in Rosalie's name may be made to Southern Care Hospice.

Per Rosalie's wishes, she was laid to rest in a private ceremony at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville, with her grandson, Pastor Eric Mockaitis officiating.  Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Rees Funeral Home, Winfield Chapel, 10909 Randolph Street, Winfield/ Crown Point, IN 46307.
