Rosalyn (Patrick) Galster: Rosalyn-lovingly known to those close to her as Bunny-passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of December 30th. She had just celebrated her 82nd birthday. She was born in Chicago to Joe and Rose Patrick (both of whom preceded her in death) but it was Lake Village, In. where she moved to as a young girl that she considered home. She graduated from Morocco High School in 1951; married her husband of 50 years, John Galster Sr (who also preceded her in death) in 1954. The following years she spent being as busy as any woman whose devoted roles included a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend could be.
She was the thread that sewed our family together...instilling the importance of tradition and family. We will carry that part of her with us as our family moves forward.
She is survived by her two devoted sons: John Galster Jr and Larry Galster; her two grand-daughters: Nicole Galster and Brandi Galster Navetta (Christopher Navetta); one great-grandson: Louis John Galster Navetta and dearest friend Jan Stemmer.
As a family, we are in need of nothing. We ask that in lieu of gifts that you make a donation to the charity of your choice honoring Bunny or that you simply pay forward the blessing of love to your friends and family. Private funeral services are being handled by Rees Funeral Home, Winfield Chapel.
