Rose M. Genisio, age 58, of Portage Indiana passed away Friday January 12, 2024. She was born February 5, 1965, in Hammond, Indiana and adopted by her parents Raymond and Kathleen (nee Shrader) Langbehn.

She was a member of The Salvation Army of Porter County Church. Rose loved to go shopping, especially for her grandchildren. She enjoyed sewing and making crafts, such as piñatas and decorations for parties. Rose will be remembered as a loving mother,    grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.

Rose is survived by her sons, William Genisio and Timothy Penrose; her daughters, Crystal Wetzel, Samantha Langbehn and Tabitha Langbehn; her grandchildren Josiah, Joshua, Rosalie, and several other grandchildren; her mother, Kathleen Langbehn; her brothers, Gerald Morse, Ed Walneck and Terry Morse; her sister, Karen McGuffin Albers.

She is preceded in death by her father Raymond Langbehn.
