Rose Risk, age 62 of Portage, IN, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2015. She was born on June 6, 1952 in Gary, Indiana to Drago and Anna (nee Peci) Torma. Rose was a member of Living Word Sanctuary Church in Valparaiso. She enjoyed making crafts and spending time with her family. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.
Rose is survived by her husband of 42 years, Thomas Risk of Portage; son, Thomas (Stephanie Hurley- Risk) Risk of South Haven; daughter, Christie L. Risk of Chesterton, granddaughter, Jane L. Risk of Chesterton; mother, Anna Torma of Lowell; three sisters, Mary (James) Crago of Lowell, Anne (John) Piggott of Monticello and Kathy (Jim) Fredianelli of Monticello, many other loving family members and friends.
Rose was preceded in death by her father.
A Funeral service for Rose will be Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 11:00 am at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Avenue, Portage, Indiana, 46368. Burial will take place at Blake Cemetery in Portage. Visitation for Rose will be Wednesday, April 22, 2015 from 2:00-8:00 pm also at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel.
