Rose Ellen Wilbanks

Rose Ellen Wibanks, age 68, of Portage passed away Wednesday October 1, 2025, at Northwest Health-Porter Hospital in Valparaiso.  Rose was born December 29, 1956, in Gary, Indiana to the late Thomas and Doris (Williams) Bradley. Rose was a homemaker, mother, sister, and wife. She loved spending time with her family at home.

She is survived by her husband Rick Wilbanks; her son Justin Wilbanks of Portage; a brother, Dave (Kathy) Bradley of Valparaiso; three sisters, Henrietta (Bob) Schroeder of Naples, FL, Reba Rogers of Valparaiso, and Audrey (David) Butler of Wanatah.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Bruce Bradley; and sister Edith Neill.

Rose wished to be cremated with no services at this time.

Rees Funeral Home 600 W. Old Ridge Road was entrusted with Rose's services.
