Rosella J. Tuszynski

Rosella J. Tuszynski (nee Bladecki), age 92, of Gary passed away Friday, April 11, 2025. She was born on August 14, 1932, in Rolling Prairie to the late Vernie and Josephine Bladecki. On October 11, 1958, she married Luke Tuszynski in Rolling Prairie, Indiana. The two of them were longtime members of Holy Family Catholic Church and she was currently a member of St. Joseph the Worker in Gary. She cherished her family and dedicated her life to taking care of them. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

She is survived by her sons Andrew Tuszynski, Patrick (Liz) Tuszynski; daughter-in-law, Kris Tuszynski; grandchildren, Ben (Kelly) Kroft, Katie (Sam) Parker, Summer (Dan) Zielinski, Emily Tuszynski; great grandchildren, Matthew, Bryce, Jacob, Oliver, and Chloe.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Luke Tuszynski; son, Joseph Tuszynski; siblings, Genny, Mike, Mary, George, Frank, and Andy.

Visitation for Rosella will be held Tuesday, April 15, 2025, from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road. Mass of Christian Burial will take place Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at 10:00 am at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 330 E 45th Ave, Gary with prayers starting at the funeral home at 9:15 am. She will be laid to rest at St. John Kanty Church Cemetery in Rolling Prairie at 12:00 pm (CST). For more information, please call (219) 942-2109.
