Rosemary Bonner

Rosemary (Banks) Bonner, age 90 of Lake Station In. passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 in Portage, In. She was born in Russell, Arkansas on July 24, 1932 to Roy and Nellie Banks.  Rosemary is survived by her sons Tim (Renee) Bonner, Terry (Rhonda) Bonner; sister Laverne; grandchildren Jillian (Billy) Hendricks, Graye (Kelly) Roberts, Max (Maddy) Bonner, Mark Bonner; great grandchildren Emma, Cameron, and Riley Hendricks; Tyler, Brooke, and Emily Roberts. She was proceeded in death by husband, Howard Bonner. Rosemary's employers were Illinois Bell, Bank of Indiana, and the School City of Lake Station. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She also enjoyed her interactions with the students and co-workers.  There will be a graveside service on Friday June 23, 2023 at the Hobart Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.
