Rosemary Way, age 70, of Hobart, passed away Friday, August 23, 2013 at Vibra Hospital in Merrillville. Rosemary had been a nursing assistant at Porter Memorial Hospital in Valparaiso, retiring from there after many years of service. She was a longtime Hobart resident and member of Assumption B.V.M. Catholic Church in New Chicago. Rosemary will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
Rosemary is survived by 2 sons; Donald (Lisa) Way Jr. of Hobart, William (Sandra) Way of Crown Point and daughter Kathleen (Greg) Viator of Hobart, 5 grandchildren: Gregory, Mathew & Stephen Viator; Nathan and Nicole Way; brother, John (Laura) Parkinson of Whiting and sister-in-law, Myrna Way of New Hope, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Way.
Funeral services for Rosemary will be held Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at 3:30 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart. Cremation will follow the service.
