Roy L. Watts, age 88, of Hobart, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2015. He was born on July 17, 1927 in Crown Point, Indiana. He was a member of the Hobart American Legion Post #54 and the 40&8. Roy proudly served his country as a Corporal in the United States Army Air Corps.

He is survived by his son: Roy J. Watts; daughter: Phyllis J. Romano; grandchildren: Christina Cook, Jeanna Romano, Tiffany (Ryan) Nobles, Jennifer Watts, Jessica Watts; great grandchildren: Ashley, Jamie, Zachary, Emma, Marisa, Karys, Collin, Lauren and one on the way; step brother: Frank Lezack.

He is preceded in death by his wife: Josephine Watts in 2002.

A funeral service for Roy will take place Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at 10:00 am at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, IN 46342. He will be laid to rest at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville, IN. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 4, 2015 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
