Rozanne Horn

Age 89 of Hobart passed away Sunday, June 22, 2025, at Valparaiso Care and Rehab. She was born on December 5, 1935, in Hammond, Indiana to the late Michael and Elizabeth (nee Gottschling) Wolucka. Rozanne was a member of United Methodist Church and maintained a fulfilling role as a stay-at-home mother, prioritizing her family's well-being. Her time spent with her sons, daughters-in-law and grandchildren brought tremendous joy.  In her younger years, she actively participated in the Timber Last Chapter of Izaak Walton League of America, dedicated to conserving our woods, water, and wildlife, and SOAR, which helps communities end homelessness. She also enjoyed bowling on Sundays with the Rowdies, playing bingo and scratching lottery tickets. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.

She is survived by her son, Lee Allen (Darlene) Horn; daughter in law, Joan Horn; seven grandchildren, Jillian Horn, Jonathon (Dana) Horn, Justin (Brianne) Horn, Bradley (Daisy) Horn, Julia (James) Garza, Samantha Horn and Breanna Horn; bonus grandchild, Michael (Stephanie) Anderson; seven great grandchildren, Lola, Bodie, Brynlee, Grayden, Taytum, Ezekiel, and Oliver; sisters-in-law, Ursula Miller , Pattie Horn and Lynn Horn; numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family members and friends.

Rozanne was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Horn; son, Charles Horn; her parents; brothers, John Wolucka and Jim Miller; sisters, Betty (Frank) Steinbach and Sandy Spires; sister-in- Law Amy Chambers and brothers-in-law, Frank Horn and Jim Horn; mother-in-law, Darlene Horn and her cousin she thought of as a sister, JoEllen Mills.

In lieu of flowers donations to Trinity United Methodist Church in memory of Rozanne would be appreciated.

A funeral service for Rozanne will be held Friday, June 27, 2025  at 10:00 am at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, Indiana 46342. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation for Rozanne will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025, from 3:00-7:00 pm, at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel.
