Ruben Murillo, II, age 66, of Hobart passed away Wednesday October 24, 2018 at St. Anthony Franciscan Health Care in Crown Point, Indiana.  Ruben was born November 3, 1951 in Gary, Indiana to Ruben and Sarah (Gutierrez) Murillo. Ruben was a handyman and former mill worker.  Ruben will be dearly missed by his loving family.

Ruben is survived by five children; Angelique (Bryon) Lambert of Crown Point, Ruben Murillo, III of Florida, Matthew Murillo of Florida, Joseph Murillo of Florida and Bruce Johnson of Crown Point; five grandchildren; his parents, Ruben and Sarah Murillo of Hobart; seven brothers and sisters, Tony Murillo of Lake Station, Steven Murillo of Munster, Andrean Murillo of Valparaiso, Celeste Murillo of Valparaiso, Michelle Giorgi of Valparaiso, Mary Phifer of Tennessee and Roseanne Vasquez of La Porte; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Ruben will be conducted from 2:00 to 6:00 pm Sunday October 28, 2018 at Rees Funeral Home, Winfield Chapel 10909 Randolph Street Winfield/Crown Point, IN 46307.
