Ruby L. Dial, age 100, of Francesville and formerly of Portage passed away Tuesday March 8, 2016 in Crown Point. Ruby was born July 11, 1915 in Wilkinson, West Virginia to the late Carl and Maggie (Collins) Swims. Ruby retired from the Sunbeam Corporation in 1979, where she worked in production.

Ruby is survived by two daughters: Patricia (Rev. Lee) Patterson of Francesville, IN and Phyllis (Butch) Huisel of Rockford, IL; ten grandchildren; many great grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Ruby was preceded in death by her first husband Okey Prince; her daughter Beulah Barger; and one grandson Thomas Paterson.

Ruby will be cremated and her cremated remains will be buried in McCool Cemetery at a later date. Rees Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.
