Ruby G. Hall, age 83, of Lake Station, passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2015. She was born on February 15, 1932 in Hopkins County, Kentucky to the late Clifton and Nannie Lou Prow. Ruby loved being a mom and enjoyed crafts, reading, sewing, crocheting and keeping busy with all kinds of puzzles and games. She will always be remembered as a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and friend to those who knew her.

Ruby is survived by her son, Steven Hall; daughters, Nancy Torres, Karen (Stephen) Szewczyk, Cindy (Bill) Reed, Brenda Marrs; daughter in law, Clara Hall; 17 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; brothers, James (Jean) Prow, David (Gayle) Prow, Jerry (Becky) Prow; brother in law, Glenn Johnson; sisters, Nelda (Lee) Carter, Sarah (Coy) Vandygriff, Peggy (Tom) Harmeson, Glenda ( Wendell) Simmons.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton and Nannie Lou Prow; beloved husband, Odis Hall; son, Ronald Hall; great grandson, John Tavoletti. Memorial contributions in Ruby's name may be made to the VNA Hospice Foundation, 2401 Valley Drive, Valparaiso, IN 46383.

A funeral service for Ruby will take place Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 10:00 am at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart with Rev. Mike Cover officiating. She will be laid to rest at Graceland Cemetery in Valparaiso. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 23, 2015 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
