Rudolph Hernandez, age 87 of Hobart passed away at home on September 22, 2024. He was born on February 2, 1937, in Chicago, Illinois to Guadalupe and Virginia Hernandez. Rudy proudly served his country in the United States Army. On October 15, 1957, he married Beverly Jane Hernandez in Crown Point. He worked as a union Iron Worker.

He is survived by his children, Regina San Miguel, Annette San Miguel, Anna Vasquez, Rudy (Cathy) Hernandez; 15 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jane in 2022; his parents, Guadalupe and Virginia Hernandez; brothers, Paul Hernandez, Guadalupe Hernandez, Tito Caudillo; and sister, Nelly Jackson.

A celebration of Rudy's life will take place Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 11:00 am at New Life Community Church, 1 N. Pennsylvania St., Hobart.
