Russell "Wayne" Flick

Russell Wayne Flick, age 71, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at Saint Marys Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 23,1938 the son of Russell A. and Opal Flick. Wayne married the love of his life Shirley (nee Choisser) on January 27,1957 and was a retired supervisor for U.S. Steel. Wayne enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife; Shirley Flick of Hobart, 2 daughters; Debbie (Guy) Simons of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, Carol (Stephen) Prince of Valparaiso, 5 grandchildren; Jessica (Anthony) Jones, Michael (Suzanne) Simons, Karen (Jacob) Noland, Bobby Reed and Kelly (Spencer) Lemmons, 4 great-grandchildren; Adeline, Nola, Simon and Liam, mother Opal (nee Mills) Flick, 1 brother; James W. (Sharon) Flick of Wheatfield.
Wayne is preceded in death by his father; Russell A. Flick, brother; Robert Flick, and sister Delores Reed.
A funeral service for Wayne will be held Wednesday November 3,2010 at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Court Bucher officiating at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart. A visitation will be held Wednesday November 3, 2010 from 5:00 pm until time of service also at Rees Funeral Home.
