RUTH M. BELSHA, age 87, of Hobart, passed away Monday, June 27, 2011. Ruth was a resident of Hobart since 1948 coming from Tennessee. She worked at Corey Brothers Bakery in Hobart for 15 years. Ruth was a member of the Church of Christ in Hobart and enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.

Ruth is survived by her son, Wayne (Donna) Belsha of Lake Station; daughter, Shirley (Matt) Murphy of Hobart; 5 grandchildren, Todd (Lori) Belsha, Kelly (Jeff) Zemburski, Kevin (Tonya) Galka, Karen (Jason) Morris and Andy (Stefanie) Belsha; and 9 great grandchildren.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband William; and her parents, Bob and Alice Clay.

A funeral service will be Thursday, June 30, 2011 at 12 Noon at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd., Hobart, with Mr. Jerry Cleek, Minister, officiating. Burial will follow at McCool Cemetery.
