RUTH HEATON, age 89, of Valparaiso, passed away Monday, September 27, 2010. Ruth was born in New Carlisle, Indiana to Antrum and Bessie Puckett. She was a Valparaiso resident for the past 15 years after moving from her home in Rockville.

Ruth is survived by her son, Edward (Sharon) Pitrowski of LaPorte; daughter, Cathy (Ed) Weber of Valparaiso; 3 grandchildren, Edward T. and Tim M. Weber and Edward M. Pitrowski; 6 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Anna (James) Murphy and Bertha Collins; other loving family and friends.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Pitrowski, and her second husband, Thomas Heaton; her parents and 5 sisters.
