Obituary
RUTH HREHA, age 93, of Hobart, passed away Friday, September 23, 2011. Ruth was born on May 11, 1918 in Marion, Indiana and moved to Hobart in 1921. She worked for 38 years as an accountant for Inland Steel and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Hobart.
Ruth is survived by her grandchildren, Christine (Michael) Yontz, Salinas, CA and Shaun (Rodney) Thornberry, Cattlesburg, KY; 1 great grandchild; brother-in-law, Michael (Theresa) Hreha, Griffith; sister, Margie Hanft of CA; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by husband, Joseph Hreha; son, Robert V. Daily; parents, Herman and Pauline Johnson.
A funeral service will be Monday, September 26, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd., Hobart. Burial at Calumet Park Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday, September 25, 2011 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart, (219) 942-2109 or online at www.reesfuneralhomes.com.
