RUTH MARIE LINT, age 77, of Lake Station, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Saint Mary Medical Center. She was an area resident for over 55 years, coming from Ohio. Ruth was formerly a member of Southlake Church of God and currently belonged to Central Avenue Church of God. She was married on May 10, 1957 to James Lint. Ruth enjoyed cooking and canning and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, James Lint; 2 daughters, Desiree (Chuckie) Emerson of Portage and Donna (John) Gonzales of Lake Station; 10 grandchildren, Jackie Lint, Amber and Michelle Gonzales, Amy Esparza, Cassandra Newell, Michael Prechella, Edward Knox, Breanna and Cody Emerson, and Joseph Penilla; 19 great grandchildren; sister, Patricia Hartford of Hobart; other loving family.

Ruth was preceded in death by her daughter, Anna Hardy; parents, Jesse and Ruth Hart; and sister, Sally Shultz.

Visitation for Ruth will be Wednesday, May 14, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave. Portage with Rev.
