SADONNA J. RYAN (nee Jacob), age 76 of Portage, formerly of Chicago and Chicago Ridge, IL, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2014 at VNA Hospice. She was born on July 11, 1938 to the late Henry and Seretta Jacob. Beloved wife of William who she married May 5, 1956.

Loving mother of Kim (Rodd) Blatter of Arvada, CO, Tom (Ann) of Tinley Park IL, Bill (Elaine) of Meadville, MS, Kevin (Patti) of Avondale, AZ; Jeff (Mary) of Wake Forest, NC, and Lori of Sarasota, FL.

Dear grandma of Jason, Shaun, Ashley, Kristopher, Kaetlyn and Allyson. Special Great Grandma of Lillyann, Logan, Braylon, and Annabelle; step grandma of 6 and step great grandma of 10.
She is also survived by her sister, Ardythe (Flink) Kowalinski of Sylvania, OH and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Seretta Jacob and brother Harold.

Sadonna belonged to the Bonner Senior Center. She enjoyed playing BINGO at the center and doing crossword puzzles and reading. She loved dogs, especially her faithful companion Liebchen. She will be missed by her family and many friends and of course Liebchen.

A funeral service will be Friday, December 19, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
