Sandra K. Fussell

Sandra K. Fussell (nee Donelson), 77, of Hobart, Ind., passed away peacefully at home on January 7, 2026. Known as Motty by family and close friends, she was the wife of Grant Fussell, with whom she shared 47 years of devoted marriage.

Motty is survived by her husband Grant; Children Jeff (Cindy) Malmquist and Lorri (David) Mullaney; Four grandchildren, Brendan and Colin (fiancée Molly) Mullaney, Ryan (Kalyn) Bisch and Connor Malmquist.

Also preceding her in death were her parents, Wendell and Betty (nee Fasel) Donelson and brothers Michael, Mark "Skip", and Joseph Donelson.

Motty was a tremendously dedicated wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and friend, strong in her commitment to family. Her greatest joys came from spending time with her family & friends and fostering a loving environment and dog sitting. She had an extraordinary gift for lasting relationships of those around her. When she wasn't spending time with Grant, she was likely at one of her grandchildren's games or events, almost never having missed a single one.

A beautiful soul; a loving heart; a wife, mother & grandmother that will be dearly missed.

Interment will be held privately for immediate family. In lieu of flowers, memorials, mass intentions, or donations in Motty's name may be made to St. Bridget Church, 107 Main St, Hobart, IN 46342.
