Sandra K. Harvey

Sandra K. (Nee Overturf) Harvey, age 71, of Valparaiso, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Regency Hospital in Portage.  She was born in Gary, Indiana on December 14, 1946 to the late Cullen and Dorothy (Nee Treece) Overturf. She was a member of Sweet Adelines International and enjoyed bowling, singing, musicals and crocheting. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Rick Harvey; six children, Ward (Tara) Mocaby of Wichita, Kansas, Jada Mocaby of Valparaiso, Jennifer Mocaby of Lafayette, Krista (Adam) Ybarra  of Wichita, Kansas; Cherokee Harvey of Indianapolis, Destiney Harvey of Valparaiso; two step children, Parthena Kenkead of Alaska and Melissa Harvey of Oklahoma; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brother, Frank (Micki) Overturf, several nieces and nephews and other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Jack, Tim and Terry Overturf.

A funeral service for Sandra will take place Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 10:00 am at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd.
