Sandra L. Kraft

Sandra Lynn Kraft (nee Crook), age 51, of Burns Harbor, passed away Friday, June 14, 2024, at home. She was born on October 26, 1972, in Valparaiso. Sandi enjoyed all kinds of music, crocheting, and hunting morel mushrooms in the springtime in the woods. She was a talented cook with a serious love for hot sauce. She was an animal lover and she doted on her four precious cats. Sandi left an indelible mark on those she loved, and she will truly be missed.

She is survived by her son, Andrew Skalku; daughter, Joni (Marcus) Rainwater; mother, Pamela (James) Yetsko; father, David (Dorothy) Crook; sister, Kathryn Crook; brother, David (Amy) Crook; many loving family members and friends; and of course, her beloved cats, Franklin, Punkin, Ghost, and Lisa.

Memorial contributions in Sandi's name may be made to the Independent Cat Society, 4061 S County Line Road, Westville, IN 46391.

Memorial visitation for Sandi will be held Thursday, June 20, 2024, from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave., Portage.
