Sandy "Sandman" Luciano

Sandy “Sandman” Lee Luciano, age 53, of Michigan City passed away Thursday April 9, 2026, at Northwest Health-Porter Hospital in Valparaiso. Sandy was born November 8, 1972, in East Chicago, Indiana to the late Earl and Jeanette (Gaston) Liepe. Prior to Sandy’s disability he worked at J&J Pizza Shack. He was loved by his family and was a dear friend to many.

He is survived by his son, Jake Anthony Luciano; his ex-wife and dear friend, Toni Luciano; three aunts, Jacqueline Fieldes, Debbie Rahaw, and Patricia Schutz; six cousins; a brother, Robert Liepe; and a stepfather, Ronald Gaston.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Sandy will be cremated with no attended services at this time.
