Sandy "Sandman" Luciano

Sandy “Sandman” Lee Luciano, 53, of Michigan City, formerly Lake Station/Portage, IN passed away on Thursday April 9, 2026, at Northwest Health-Porter Hospital in Valparaiso, with loving family by his side.  Sandy was born on November 8, 1972, in East Chicago, Indiana, to the late Earl Liepe and late Jeanette Gaston. Sandy was a longtime, former employee at J&J Pizza Shack. He was deeply loved by his family and cherished as a loyal friend by many.

Sandy is survived by his son, Jake Anthony Luciano; his former wife and dear friend, Toni Luciano; three aunts, Jacqueline Fields, Debbie Rahaw, and Patricia Schutz; five cousins; his brother, Robert Liepe; two nieces and one nephew; and his stepfather, Ronald Gaston.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no funeral services. 

Sandy will be dearly missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
