Sandy J. Pero

Sandra J. Pero (nee Pozdol), age 69, of Hobart, passed away March 28, 2018 at St. Mary Medical Center.  She was born in Gary, Indiana on June 26, 1948 to the late Walter and Edith (nee Baxter) Pozdol.  Sandy was an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan.  She enjoyed watching the birds on the feeders and she will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Sandy is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Jerry Pero; son, Kevin (Joshua) Lambert Pero; daughter, Lisa (Thomas) Sinjakovic; grandchildren, Kimberly, Michael; and brother, Larry (Sue) Pozdol.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A funeral service for Sandy will take place Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 12:00 pm with Rev. Andrew Corona officiating at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd.
