Sara L. Szymanski, age 75, of Portage passed away Saturday December 18, 2021, in her home.  She was born November 11, 1946, in Gary, Indiana to the late Edward and Virginia (Kendall) Gallon.  She was retired from Bethlehem Steel in 2002 as a Material Control/ Construction Clerk following thirty-six years of service.  She loved watching birds, but most of all she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Sara is survived by her three daughters, Kristi (Jeff) Leucuta of Portage, Lisa Michel of Ohio, and Tammy (Scott) Dean of Portage; four grandchildren, Shelby Leucuta, Drake Dean, Ryan Leucuta, and Hannah Michel and many other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband, Peter.
