Sarah E. Dorsey, age 91, of Hobart passed away Saturday June 17, 2017 in Crown Point. Sarah was born May 27, 1926 in Chesterton, Indiana to the late Charles and Nell (Boger) Potts. She loved her employment with Ginter Realty. Sarah was a member of the St Mary Medical Center Auxiliary and AARP. She was a past member of Kappa Delta Psi Sorority, Gamma Psi Chapter. She was also a member of the Hobart Presbyterian Church.

Sarah is survived by her three children, David Dorsey of Elkhart, Kelly (Patrick Pooler) Dorsey of Aurora, CO and Danelle (Jeff) Geib of Hobart; her four grandchildren, Ryan (Amy) Geib, Ashley Cawley, Sean Geib and Jourdan Dorsey-Pooler; her two great grandchildren, Tyler and Rylee Geib; and many dear nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Frank; her parents; her daughter Deborah Michiels; her three sisters, Barbara Harrigan, Geraldine Dinkmeier and Bernice Paveltich; and her brother, Thomas Potts.

Visitation will be from 2-6 pm Wednesday June 21, 2017 at Rees Funeral Home 600 W. Old Ridge Road, Hobart, Indiana 46342 with a 3:30 pm St Mary Medical Center Auxiliary Memorial Service. Sarah's ashes will be buried in McCool Cemetery in Portage, IN at a later date.
