Sarah And Nora Gedda

Sarah D. (nee Rivera) Gedda, age 28, of Hobart and her infant daughter, Nora Faith Gedda passed away in the early hours of Saturday, May 6, 2017. Sarah was born on January 26, 1989 in Gary, Indiana. She was a 2008 graduate of Hobart High School. On December 5, 2013, she married the love of her life, Scott Gedda, who survives. Sarah enjoyed taking care of her family and will always be remembered as a dedicated mother.

Sarah is also survived by her mother, Joyce Ladd; daughters, Elliana and Sophia Gedda; brother, Michael (Amanda) Ladd; sister, Allison (Patrick ) Waters; grandmother, Martha Ladd; father and mother-in-law, James and Diane Gedda; brother-in-law, James Gedda; sister-in-law, Alexis Gedda; spiritual mom and dad, Louise and Marshall Neese; many other loving family members and friends.

Memorial visitation for Sarah and her baby, Nora will be held Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Living Hope Church, 9000 Taft Street Merrillville. A memorial service will take place at 11:00 am with pastor Ted Matchett officiating. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart.
