Scott Christopher Schultz, age 30, of Valparaiso, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2014. He was born in on December 22, 1983 to John M. and Diane L. (nee Nelson) Schultz in Hammond, Indiana. Scott enjoyed music, sports, and spending time with family and friends. He was a drummer for the band Head Honchos and enjoyed giving drum lessons. He will be remembered as a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. He will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his loving parents John and Diane Schultz of Crown Point; two brothers, Garrett (Stephanie Sier)Schultz of Valparaiso, Elliott Schultz E5 U.S Navy of Greece; sister Jacquelyn Schultz of Seattle, Washington; maternal grandparents, Donald and Lorraine Nelson of Demotte, many other loving family members and friends.
Scott was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Mary Schultz.
A funeral service for Scott will take place at 11 am on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Rees Funeral Home, Winfield Chapel, 10909 Randolph, Crown Point, with Kenneth Easton officiating.
