Scott A. Van Blaricum, age 58, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Northwest Health – Porter in Valparaiso. He was born May 3, 1966, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Ed and Janice Van Blaricum.  He was a 1984 graduate of Valparaiso High School where he served as the Tennis team manager. Throughout his life he worked for the Town of Munster as a waste collector of garbage and recycling, and in the winter he would handle snow and ice removal. Scott also worked as a Ready-mix Concrete Driver in Fort Myers, Fl, an Overnight Stocker at Walmart in Valparaiso, and a food service employee at Valparaiso University. He was a member of Living Hope Community Church. Scott's greatest loves were funny animal videos, anything red meat and his beloved Dachshund, Shorty.

He is preceded in death by his younger sister, Melissa Van Blaricum.

Scott is survived by parents, Ed and Jan Van Blaricum; sister, Lesli (Jeff) Mikenas; nieces, Morgan and Brooke Mikenas; and aunts, cousins, and friends.

In keeping with the wishes of Scott there will be no funeral services.
