SG Shoaf, age 75, passed away February 17, 2011 at Sebos Nursing Home in Hobart, Indiana. SG was born April 23,1935 in Temple Texas the son of Ilas and Gracie Mae Shoaf. SG was a veteran for the United States Army. He enjoyed playing dominos with his friends and family. He was also a big Dallas Cowboy fan!
He is survived by his wife of 38 wonderful years: Mickey Shoaf, son; Ronald Miller of California, daughter; Beverly Talley of Texas, stepdaughter; Darlene Shaw of Texas and brother; Leroy Magnum of California. He leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews from Texas, Arizona, California, Indiana and Wisconsin.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Ilas and Gracie Mae Shoaf.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 23,2011 at 10:00 am with Rev. Peter Irvine officiating at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave. Portage, Indiana 46368. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 22, 2011 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. also at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel.
