Sharon Marie Hicks

Sharon M. Hicks, age 75, of Portage, passed away Friday, October 14, 2016. Sharon was born in Gary, IN on November 13, 1940 to the late Leo and Marie (nee Zelenak) Grogan. She worked at Nipsco for over 30 years. Sharon will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend.

Sharon is survived by her husband of 45 years, Ronald Hicks; son, Gail Gragido; and brother, Jim Grogan.

A funeral service for Sharon, with Pastor Bob Burton officiating, will take place Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Avenue, Portage, IN 46368.
