Sharon K. (nee Oller) Murphy, age 77, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Porter Regional in Valparaiso. She was born on May 12, 1941 in Whiting, Indiana to the late Eugene and Beulah (nee Linder) Oller. Sharon married the love of her life the late Michael Murphy on November 14, 1965. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

She is survived by her loving family; two sons, Shawn and Patrick Murphy; three daughters, Kathy (Christopher) Cross, Becky (Tim) Warren and Megan (Armondo) Vasquez; two brothers; nine grandchildren, Matthew Cross, Brandon Murphy, Cole Murphy, Michael Murphy, Alex Murphy, Courtney Murphy, Emma Vasquez, Olivia Vasquez and Cheyenne Warren; three great-grandchildren, Liam Cross, Luke Seles and Abigail Seles and many other loving family members and friends.

Sharon was preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 yrs., Michael Murphy; grandson, Shane Murphy; three brothers, Larry, Billy and Leroy "Doc" Oller and two half sisters, Ruby and Iniece.

A Memorial service for Sharon will take place Sunday, April 7, 2019 at 3:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Brady Chapel, 3781 Central Ave., Lake Station, with Pastor Bob Burton officiating.
