SHARON A. NELSON, age 70, of Valparaiso, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at IU Health Center in Indianapolis. Sharon was an area resident for the last 40 years coming from Midlothian, IL. She was a member of Nativity of Our Savior Catholic Church and a former member of the Community Association in South Haven. Sharon was employed as a preschool teacher at Wee Care. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.

Sharon is survived by her 5 children, Patrick (Jodie) Nelson, Andrea Nelson, Sean Nelson, Bridget (Tony) Santucci, and Marc Nelson; 1 grandchild, Rian Nelson; 1 sister, Diane (Tom) DiBiase; other loving family and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert and her parents.
