SHERI LYNN JANIA (nee Wilding) age 45, of Portage, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2011 suddenly as the result of an accident. Sheri was employed at the Shift Change Lounge as a bartender. She was a graduate of Portage High School.
Sheri is survived by her companion, Rob Simons, 2 sons, Richard and Nathan Jania, father, Bud Wilding, all of Portage. She was preceded in death by her mother, Kay Wilding, brother, Todd Wilding and sister, Rhonda Hilton.
There will be a memorial service Monday, September 12, 2011 at 10:00 am at Portage American Legion Post #260, 5675 Mulberry Ave., Portage, with the Legion Ladies Auxiliary officiating. Burial of Sheri's cremated remains will take place Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at 11:00 am at McCool Cemetery in Portage.
