Shirley Holtz

SHIRLEY A. HOLTZ, age 77, of Hobart, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2016 at St. Mary Medical Center. She was born in Hobart on February 24, 1939 to the late Banks and Hazel Ellis. Her family, especially her nieces and nephews, will remember her for her delicious homemade cupcakes. Shirley was a loving wife, sister and aunt and will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Billie Holtz; 2 sons, Billie Jr. and Walter Holtz; brother, Warren (Dorothy) Ellis; sister, Nancy Sparks and her daughter, Mary Ann; several other nieces and nephews.

Shirley was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Norman and Wayne Ellis; and sister, Grace Napier.

Funeral services for Shirley will be officiated by her nephew, Pastor Jeff Ellis, on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 beginning with visitation at 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12 Noon at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 W.
