SHIRLEY A. MEMERING, age 75, of Valparaiso, formerly of Hobart, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2013. She was born on December 31, 1937 in Gary, Indiana to the late Glen and Ann Lowe. Shirley was very artistic and enjoyed ceramics and crafting. Shirley was a wonderful woman and will be missed by those who knew and loved her.

Shirley is survived by her 3 children, Charlotte (Rick)Memering- Dahl of Valparaiso, Becky (James) Sliger of St. John, and Charles E. (Carol) Memering, Jr. of Tucson, AZ; 5 grandchildren, Mark Donelson, Daniel (Megan) Heintz, Jonathon Heintz, Aaron Memering and Ashleigh Memering; 1 great grandchild, Sydney Heintz.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles.

A funeral service for Shirley will be Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd., with Rev. Gary S. Nagy officiating.
