Shirley A. Richier, age 67 of Portage, Indiana,passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Golden Living Center in Portage.
She was born on April 13, 1947 to the late Clint and Zina (nee Pennington) Farmer in Maryland. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.
Shirley is survived by her son Earl (Teresa) Richier, two daughters, Ruby (Rick) McCall and Sheila Richier, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, 3sisters; Mary, Jewel and Sue, 3 brothers; Howard, Joe and Tom, many other loving family members and friends.
A Memorial service for Shirley will be held Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at 3 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Avenue, Portage, Indiana, with Rick McCall officiating. A Memorial visitation will be Wednesday, April 15, 2015 from 2 pm until time of service, also at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel.
