Shirley Audrey Roberts, age 81, of Portage, passed away at her daughters' home on Wednesday, April 8, 2020, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Pennsylvania on September 19, 1938, to the late William and Mary (nee Young) Gilbert.  Shirley enjoyed sewing, baking, and feeding her family and friends. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Shirley is survived by her four sons, Dennis (Eva Keith) Roberts, Dwayne (Sharon Kerns) Roberts, George Charles (Betty) Roberts Jr., and Albert Roberts; four daughters, Lori Vroman, Estelle (Mike) Roman, Hope (James) Petersen, Greta (Chuck McClelland Jr) Turner;  numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three siblings, Jack Gilbert, Faith (Dick) Garrett and Teresa (Boyd) Bechtold; many nieces and nephews and other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George Charles Roberts Sr.; two daughters, Theresa Roberts and Angelica Rose Piazza; brother, Richard Gilbert, sister, Mary Kay Dilley, 2 grandchildren Tony R. Turner and Jason A. Roman and her parents.
