Spencer Michael Asbell, age 22, of Hobart, Indiana passed away Friday, September 30, 2016. Spencer was born September 29, 1994 in Kingman, Arizona to Michael Asbell and Nikki Lavedas (nee Eck). He was a Hobart High School graduate. He will be remembered as a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend.
He is survived by his mother, Nikki (Kenny) Lavedas of Hobart; father, Michael L. (Kari) Asbell of Valparaiso; twin brothers, Nick and Max Asbell; step-brother, Dakota Asbell; maternal grandparents Raymond (Delphine) Eck; paternal grandmother, Karen Asbell; three aunts, Dawn Karshner, Kristie Elliott and Erin Eck; two uncles, Curtis (Michelle) Asbell and Christopher Asbell; numerous cousins, Heidi, McKenna, Madison, Alec, Adam , Justin, Mason, Evelyn, Mallory, Destiny and Breanna and other loving family and friends.
Spencer was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Robert Asbell.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 5, 2016 from 3-7 pm at the Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Road, Hobart, Indiana 46342. Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 pm Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Rees Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Burton officiating.
