Stacey E. Gorby, age 68, of Brook, Indiana passed away Thursday August 15, 2024. At Franciscan Health-Crown Point. Stacey was born May 15, 1956, in North Charleroi, Pennsylvania to the late Edward and Blanche (Park) Hughes. Stacey was a former school bus driver for the Lake Station School System. She loved camping and spoiling her granddaughters.

Stacey is survived by her loving husband, Michael Gorby; two children, Sean Gorby of Indianapolis, and Shannon (Jason) Yuraitis of Lake Station; two granddaughters, Melanie and Violet; two brothers, Kevin (Laura) Hughes, and Jack (Melissa) Hughes; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Robert Hughes and Scott Hughes.

Stacey wished to be cremated with no attended services. Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel was entrusted with her arrangements.
